User Agreement

Effective date: August 10, 2026  •  Applies to the Zephu app (bundle com.zephu.silverdollar)

Zephu is a comparison-first archive for collectors of Yuan Shikai silver dollars (袁大头). This Agreement governs your use of the app. By opening or using Zephu, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms below.

1Service Overview

Zephu helps silver dollar collectors log each coin into a numbered archive card — year, die variety, diameter and weight, grade, and acquisition details — and then compare and rank same-year pieces across variety, edge lettering, condition, and rarity. The app also builds an edition matrix and a collection value-trend view so your archive grows into a searchable reference.

Zephu is intended for adult users and is not directed to children under 13 years of age. Using the app constitutes acceptance of this Agreement; if you do not agree, please stop using the app.

2Anonymous Use & Identity

Zephu does not provide any account registration or login functionality. You do not need to create an account, user name, or password to use the full set of features — the app is used anonymously.

  • Zephu does not collect any account-type identity information and maintains no server-side user profile.
  • Your archive cards, photos, and local cache are stored on your own device. You are responsible for that local data.
  • Uninstalling the app removes all local data. Because there is no account, there is no password recovery, account merge, or account closure process.

3Rules of Use

You agree to use Zephu lawfully and responsibly. You are responsible for the legality of any content or information you enter into the app.

  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
  • Do not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app without authorization.
  • Do not use the app to conduct malicious attacks, or to upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

4Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of the coin photos, notes, and archive entries you create. You grant Zephu a limited license to process this content solely to provide the app's features on your device.

AI-generated comparisons, rankings, and insights are provided for your personal collecting reference. You are ultimately responsible for how you use any content you create or generate within the app.

5AI Feature Terms

Zephu uses AI technology provided through the third-party service OpenRouter to compare and rank your coins and to generate collection insights.

  • By using an AI feature, you agree that the necessary non-facial data (such as the coin attributes and images you enter) may be transmitted temporarily to OpenRouter for processing.
  • Neither Zephu nor OpenRouter stores this data; it is used only during processing and is destroyed immediately afterward.
  • AI output is for reference only. Zephu makes no guarantee of its accuracy and it must not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, or personal-safety decisions.

6Purchases & Coins

Zephu offers only one-time In-App Purchases. Coins are a consumable virtual item: you pay a fixed amount and receive a corresponding quantity of coins, which are spent when you run comparisons beyond the free allowance.

This app does not offer any subscription, recurring payment, or auto-renewing service. All purchases are one-time consumable in-app purchases.

All payments are handled by the Apple App Store, and prices are shown there. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policy; please use Apple's "Report a Problem" flow to request one.

7Service Changes & Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service where reasonably necessary. You may stop using Zephu at any time; stopping use terminates this Agreement. Because there is no account system, no closure procedure is required.

8Disclaimer

The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of availability, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits. Any interruption or anomaly of the third-party service (OpenRouter) does not constitute a breach by Zephu.

9Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the applicable laws of your jurisdiction. You and the developer will first seek to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute may be submitted to a court or arbitration body of competent jurisdiction.

10Updates to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through in-app notices. Your continued use of Zephu after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
