Zephu Coinlog (bundle com.zephu.silverdollar) • Effective date: August 10, 2026
Zephu is a comparison-first archive for Yuan Shikai silver dollar (袁大头) collectors. This Privacy Policy explains what limited data the app handles, how it is used, and how we protect it. We collect the minimum data required to make the app work and never sell your data.
1.Third-Party AI (OpenRouter)
Zephu's comparison and insight features are powered by the third-party AI service OpenRouter.
Data transmitted: Only the non-personal, non-facial data required for the AI feature — the coin attributes and images you enter (year, die variety, grade, edge lettering, and similar catalog details). We clearly distinguish this functional data from any personal data and transmit nothing beyond what the feature needs.
Prior authorization: Before any transmission, the app tells you what will be sent and to whom, and proceeds only after you give explicit, active consent.
Third-party safeguards: OpenRouter maintains equivalent or higher data-protection standards, processes the data only for the agreed purpose on a strictly time-limited basis, retains no user data (destroyed immediately once processing completes), and does not misuse or resell it.
No app-side storage: Zephu does not store the data sent to the AI on any server or database; it is used only during processing and destroyed immediately afterward.
Content you enter: Coin photos, catalog attributes, grades, prices, and notes you actively add to your archive — collected only when you submit them, used solely to build and display your local collection.
Permission-based content: Camera, photo library, and microphone content you authorize — used only to capture coin photos, import existing images, and record voice notes for the feature you invoked.
Locally processed data: Image data processed on-device to build archive cards and comparisons, used only for that function.
Basic device information: Device model, operating-system version, language, and anonymous usage statistics — collected automatically only to keep the app stable and improve the experience.
We follow a data-minimization principle: we collect only the minimum data required for the app's features, and nothing more.
Zephu does not provide account registration or login. You can use every feature without creating an account.
We do not collect any account-type identifiers — including user name, password, phone number, email address (other than the developer contact email listed in this policy), real name, date of birth, gender, ID numbers, or any third-party credential (Apple ID / Google / Facebook, etc.).
There is no account database: no server-side user profile, no login state, and no session token.
All of your in-app data (local cache, archive entries, generated results) is stored only on your device; uninstalling the app clears all local data.
Because there is no account, there is no account recovery, account merge, or account closure flow.
The only third party that receives functional data is OpenRouter, and only for the AI features described above. There is no other third-party sharing.
Third-party processing is strictly limited: data is processed only temporarily for the duration of the feature request, no user data is retained (destroyed once processing completes), and it is handled under strict security rules with no misuse.
We never sell, sub-lease, or unlawfully disclose any of your data.
Zephu offers only one-time In-App Purchases; the purchasable item is a consumable virtual good (coins).
The app does not offer subscriptions, auto-renewal, recurring charges, or trial-to-paid conversions of any kind.
All payments are handled entirely by the Apple App Store. Zephu does not access, collect, or store your credit-card number, bank details, Apple ID password, or any payment credentials.
Zephu receives only a "purchase succeeded" receipt from Apple in order to grant coins; that receipt contains no payment-method details.
Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policy, and Zephu has no access to your payment history.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, export, and withdraw consent for your data.
Because there is no account, you exercise most rights directly: uninstalling the app deletes all local data, and you may revoke camera, photo, or microphone permission at any time in system settings.
For any other request, email the developer at the address below and we will help you process it.
Security: We apply reasonable safeguards — including on-device storage, transport encryption for functional data, and access controls — to protect your data.
Children: Zephu is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that such data has been collected inadvertently, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest version. Significant changes will be communicated through in-app notices or announcements, and the updated policy takes effect once posted.
